Jenny began working for 21 Hospitality in 2015. She began part-time on the fish counter at Saltwater, on the eve of the opening of the new Fenwick Food Hall. During this time Jenny was completing her Fine Art Degree at Newcastle University. Following completion she soon noticed her passion for food and learning new skills growing. In a bid to develop her skills and keen to take on more responsibility, Jenny began training as a Chef in the Porterhouse kitchen.
Jenny later progressed to learning pastry and bread making, an area which she was always fascinated by.
Jenny continued her passion for art too, her illustrations bring life and charm to so many of our designs throughout our restaurants and all the illustrations found across this website came from Jenny. You can purchase her work here.

We’re at the mercy of what the boat brings in daily and while we love that aspect of Saltwater, it can make it difficult to plan photography shoots. That’s when our in-house team steps in. Nick’s always ready to grab his camera and head in to showcase the wonderful produce our suppliers bring us daily. It’s often a quick snap before our chefs begin filleting or shucking to let our friends and loyal customers know just what is on the counter that day – put simply, today’s catch, today.
